Sometimes starting is the hardest part.

Getting Started

Recognising that you might need some support and making the decision to seek help isn’t always easy. The fact that you are here shows that maybe you want things in your life to be different, and would like some help to do this.

Step 1: Get In Touch

To see if one of our therapists can help you, choose one of the following options:

  • You can find out more about members of our therapy team here and contact someone directly.

  • If you are not sure which therapist might be right for you, complete this brief form and we will make some suggestions about who could best support you in the work you want to do.

Step 2: Meet Your Therapist

Once matched with a therapist you will be offered a free 20 minute introductory session. In this session the therapist will explain more about the process of therapy. It will also give you an opportunity to get a sense of one another and if you would like to work with them. Working with the right person, someone you feel comfortable and safe with, is probably the most important thing.

Step 3: Get started

Therapy is usually once a week, for 50 minutes. See our FAQs here for more information. Your therapist will continue to check in with you on how you are finding therapy and what you can do, together, to ensure it is working for you.
